After going out to dinner with my boyfriend, I drove to 's house to stay the night. Probably only got 5-6 hours of sleep being as we stayed up watching movies and ranting (as usual).
The next morning I wake up to find :iconkyouheicutie: pulling the sheets off of me. I lazily got up and right away started to get parts of my cosplay together, and BIND!!! D: But I think this time was by far my best job at doing it. Completely forgot about breakfast altogether (ah well). then arrives in her Itachi costume. So we drive all the way out to the highway when Caton (Gina's boyfriend) thinks he forgot his wallet at the house. After a while of searching and the three of us just waiting in the car. He comes back and finds it was in the car the whole time. So then we are almost at the highway when I yell out "SHIT!" because I just realized I forgot my sword at the house :S We actually weren't too too late getting to the university surprisingly. It was very cold out, especially when you have open ninja shoes, and an open shirt as well.
First thing we did once we found peoples was go to the chess thing. Haha just like last Otafest too. This one was cool because it was in the big room, but they didn't play the full game which I think was stupid. I didn't get to move so it kinda sucked. I had an attack move planned out too (took 30 seconds lol), and was just going to slam my sword next to me on the ground, and go all chidori crazy! Got to see lots of old friends (yahoo!) loves to them all! Then I was pretty much trying to find people. Got an energy drink, and found a stable group to belong in. They were pretty sweet. Did way too much walking for one day though. The day seemed to be going really slowly, and I think I might know why. There wasn't as much interesting things to see, and it just didn't seem to have that same awesome feel to it as the previous Otafest did. I got a lot less people screaming at me and less photos too, which kinda got me sad only because I put so much work into the open shirt binding, and I almost felt like all that work was for nothing. The guy that was taking pictures on behalf of the Ota blog or something like that took like 10 pictures of me in different poses but that's it. I also have no idea as to how many fricken times my sword got snatched from me -_- haha I think mostly it was Theo (sneaky butt). I was happy to have finally gotten my sword re-painted and fixed in time. It was sad to say goodbye to everyone
We (Gina, Caton, Sarah and I) went to Joey's for dinner.Yummm. Fun times with singing along with Disney songs driving home XD Ye-ah
I must say, we had a very interesting time in taking my tape off once we got home. At certain points it was pretty painful but I was lucky to have such an amazing friend like to help. If I had done it by myself, the results would have been catastrophic. Thank you Gina, again!!! I was also making an arrange of facial expressions as the tape was peeling away from my skin. I couldn't help it, the tinge would surprise me sometimes. We boiled some water, and decided to pour it directly onto my skin to help loosen the tape and make it easier for it to come off with less pain involved. The boiling water was by far the MOST painful. It felt like a waterfall of pain. I now have a long line down my back/side which I think is a secondary burn. It doesn't sting anymore thankfully. Ahh the joys of cosplaying Sasuke >.< I am a genius sometimes lol not really.
